How to link EPF UAN to Aadhaar via eKYC portal? (Option 1)
The EPFO has recently launched this online provision to link Aadhaar to your EPF (UAN) account. You can submit your Aadhaar number to EPFO without logging into your UAN member portal.
– Please visit the EPF portal.
– Click on ‘eKYC portal’ in the ‘online services’ section of the home page.

You will be redirected to the eKYC portal page. Click on the ‘UAN Aadhaar Link’ option in the ‘For EPFO Members’ section.

On the “link your UAN with Aadhaar” screen, provide your current UAN number and the mobile number that is linked to UAN and click “Generate OTP”. Provide the OTP in the ‘Confirm OTP’ field and your Aadhaar number and then click the ‘submit’ button. (The moment you provide your UAN number, the mobile phone number that is linked to it is displayed.)

1. After successful OTP verification and if your personal details between UAN and Aadhaar match, then Aadhaar will be linked to your UAN. In this process, your employer is not involved.
2. If there are discrepancies (for example: your name in UAN may be different from the name provided in Aadhaar), you must correct them in UAN (through your employer) or on the Aadhaar card.
Under this eKYC portal, you also have the option to track your eKYC status online (track Aadhaar-UAN binding status online).
– Visit the eKYC portal. Click on the ‘Track eKYC’ link in the ‘for EPFO members’ section.
